ARIE was formed in London in 2016 by experienced financiers Stephen Margolis and Simon Tobelem.

Originally a lawyer, Stephen founded Taurus Asset Finance (ARIE Capital's parent company) in 2011 as an alternative asset finance boutique.
He has since been involved in raising over £500 million for a wide variety of projects in areas as diverse as property development, connectivity and deep tech.
Stephen previously ran Future Films, where he raised over £2 billion for film and TV production
Kirsty has worked in the alternative finance and EIS space for the last 15 years, working with several leading alternative investment houses providing her with diverse exposure to multiple investment sectors. Prior to joining ARIE Capital, she was COO of an independent investment specialist, providing Financial Advisors, Accountants and Private Banks with an independent view of the media market, property and renewable energy. Kirsty also spent 6 years at a mid-market Investment Manager where she gained experience in business operations, financial compliance, and family offices.
CEO & Founding Partner
Simon has more than 25 years’ experience in banking, venture capital, corporate finance, M&A and general management across the globe.
Prior to founding ARIE Capital, Simon forged a strong reputation as a strategic advisor to senior management and boards using strong analytical and financial engineering skills.
Previous positions include spells at Rothschild Bank an as the Economic Adviser to the Israeli Minister of Finance.
Asif is the Finance Controller of ARIE Capital and oversees all aspects of finance and operations of the firm.
Prior to joining ARIE Capital in 2019, Asif was the Finance Manager at Taurus Asset Finance.
Before this, he worked at a private single-family office with over USD 1 billion under management in alternative investments, real estate and private equity.
Martin has served as the Head of Business Development for Taurus Asset Finance (ARIE Capital's parent company) since November 2016.
Martin is able to leverage his strong relationships with accountants, IFA’s, Wealth Managers and Family Offices as well as high level contacts within the banking and real estate sectors.
Martin previously held roles with the Rebus Group and the Scion Investment Group, among others.
Ricky has served as the VP of Business Development for ARIE Capital in the US since mid-2017, serving as a bridge between the Silicon Valley and ARIE Capital’s offices in London, Beijing and Tel Aviv.
Prior to joining ARIE Capital, Ricky worked extensively in the entertainment industry, serving as VP of Future Films USA in Los Angeles and as International Marketing Coordinator at Filmax International in Barcelona.
Originally from Ukraine, Khrystyna graduated from the University of Kent in 2014 with First Class Honours in Accounting and Finance.
She joined Taurus Asset Finance (ARIE Capital's parent company) in October 2014 as a Financial Assistant, since when she has led the accounting team on various projects and will be overseeing the financial management of ARIE Capital's EIS investment fund.
